2 Transistor FM Voice Transmitter

Warning: Take care with transmitter circuits. It is illegal in most countries to operate radio transmitters without a license. Although only low power this circuit may be tuned to operate over the range 87-108MHz with a range of 20 or 30 metres. Circuit Diagram  Notes I have used a pair of BC548 transistors in this circuit. Although not strictly RF transistors, they still give good results. I have used an ECM Mic insert from Maplin Electronics, order code FS43W. It is a two terminal ECM, but ordinary dynamic mic inserts can also be used, simply omit the front 10k resistor. The coil L1 was again from Maplin, part no. UF68Y and consists of 7 turns on a quarter inch plastic former with a tuning slug. The tuning slug is adjusted to tune the transmitter. Actual range on my prototype tuned from 70MHz to around 120MHz. Latch Switch 2

This circuit uses a Silcon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) as a latch switch. Once enabled it can only be turned off by pressing S2 or power is removed from the circuit. Latch Switch 2 Circuit Diagram Circuit Notes: The load is represented by the 1k resistor and orange LED, although the C106D can handle much larger loads. Once the On switch is pressed, the SCR receives a voltage on its gate terminal and goes into forward conduction and conducts current through its anode and cathode terminals. This current remains to flow even when the on switch is released, so the LED remains lit. The load can only be turned off by pressing the Reset switch which is a Push-to-Break non-latching push switch. Note that reset switch must be able to handle the full load currents and voltage.

Interfacing Seven Segment (c.c) Display In this tutorial i will show you how to interface S.S display with PIC16F887/877. For this we required 74hc573 latches, 74hc238 decoder, and 74ls48 bcd2dec converter. Latches are used to enable/disable the S.S, 74hc234 a 3x8 decoder selects the appropriate latch to be enable/disable. 74ls48 just converts the bcd input to respective decimal output to operate S.S properly.  Now lets write a small program that display the digital manual input at S.S, enter by the user; by using 8-way dip switch. Build a Voltage-To-Frequency Converter Circuit Diagram 2 . Using a Burr-Brown VFC 32 IC, this voltage-to-frequency converter uses few components. The circuit values are shown in the figure. This charge-balanced V/F converter uses a VFC32 or a VFC320 IC.  The positive charge from the 1-mA balances the negative charge from the input.
