LED as a diode Rectifier Circuit Diagram

Image
This is a simple LED as a diode Rectifier Circuit Diagram. In certain situations where the current is not high, we can use the famous LED (LED) and diode rectifier voltage power circuits. The LED can be used without problem in a rectification circuit, and also works in the power ratings. Pay attention not to exceed the maximum current of the LED in a wave rectifier.  Using LED as a diode Rectifier Circuit Diagram

How to Build a Automatic Lighting Controller

Image
How to build a automatic lighting controller circuit. The governor following is intended to regulate the light intensity incandescent 220 V. The components in a relatively few, which means it can easily be mounted onto a small plate. After the build, we recommend you place it inside the box which is flush mounted switch ON / OFF the lamp. Setting the switch to ON, the lamp will light after about 400 msec, a delay is probably negligible. Automatic Lighting Controller Circuit Diagram: But when the state enters the ON OFF, then mesolathei a period of 20 sec, the brightness of the lamp remains unchanged to start falling out soon after.  The last feature is particularly useful when we want to have a little time from the moment you 'close' switch. Once the switch S1 set to ON, the capacitor C2 begins to charge through R1, C1 and bridge D1-D4. The Zener diode D5 limits the voltage across the capacitor to about 15 n. After awhile, the diode D6 LED illuminates, causing the appearance of...

How to Convert SMPS into a Solar Charger Circuit Diagram

Image
The post explains a novel way of using an ordinary SMPS unit for charging a battery via a solar panel. The method will result in an extremely efficient and fast solar charging of the connected battery. SMPSs have become very common nowadays and we find them being used in the form of of low voltage DC units wherever needed. The best example is our cell phone chargers which are actually compact SMPS 5V chargers. Solar charger devices are also becoming popular nowadays and folks are constantly in look out for options in the form of solar chargers having the most efficient charging response. Solar panels or PV devices are normally utilized for charging lead acid batteries which tends to take relatively long hour for getting fully charged, and especially when the sunlight conditions are bad things start getting even more sluggish. For tackling the above condition or rather for enabling quicker charging from solar panels, special MPPT based soar chargers have been developed which effecti...

Build a Converter VGA to BNC Adapter

Image
There are monitors which only have three BNC inputs and which use composite synchronization (‘sync on green’). This circuit has been designed with these types of monitor in mind. As can be seen, the circuit has been kept very simple, but it still gives a reasonable performance. The principle of operation is very straightforward. The RGB signals from the VGA connector are fed to three BNC connectors via AC-coupling capacitors. These have been added to stop any direct current from entering the VGA card. A pull-up resistor on the green output provides a DC offset, while a transistor (a BS170 MOSFET) can switch this output to ground. It is possible to get synchronisation problems when the display is extremely bright, with a maximum green component. In this case the value of R2 should be reduced a little, but this has the side effect that the brightness noticeably decreases and the load on the graphics card increases. To keep the colour balance the same, the resistors for the other two colo...

Build a 12V 7 2Ah SMF Battery Charger Circuit Diagram

Image
Build a 12V 7.2Ah SMF Battery Charger Circuit Diagram . The LM317 is an adjustable three-terminal positive-voltage regulator capable of supplying more than 1.5A over an output-voltage range of 1.25 V to 37 V. It is exceptionally easy to use and requires only two external resistors, R2’ and R2” (R2= R2’+ R2”) to set the output voltage. Furthermore, both line and load regulation is better than standard fixed regulators. In addition to having higher performance than fixed regulators, this device includes on-chip current limiting thermal overload protection, and safe-operating-area protection. All overload protection remains fully functional, even if the ADJUST terminal is disconnected. By connecting a fixed resistor, R1 the ADJUST and OUTPUT terminals, the LM317 can function as a precision current regulator. An optional output capacitor can be added to improve transient response. Schematic Diagram using LM317   The ADJUST terminal can be bypassed to achieve very high ripple-rejectio...

Building a Modified EA Tremolo Pedal on Veroboard

Image
Good morning, everyone. Who wants to build a tremolo pedal today? Well I know I do. The original EA Tremolo was published in “Electronics Australia”, an Australian (you don’t say!) electronics magazine, in November 1968 and later proved extremely popular among the DIY community. Since then, several modifications/improvements have been made. Here’s the one I’ve decided to try: A description of the circuit can be found here: http://www.home-wrecker.com/eatremolo.html Helpfully, a Veroboard layout is already available. This one was laid out by Andrew Carrell, who asks that it not be reposted, so instead I will simply provide a link: http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/DRAGONFLY-LAYOUTS_0/album19/album145/EA_TREMOLO_VERO.gif.html [Note that the flashing LED appears to be wired in the wrong way around in that veroboard layout, so swap its polarity. See comments below for a bit more info.] As you may be aware, I’m a bit of a fan of Veroboard circuits, since they can be quite easy to...

Build a Telephone Conversation Recorder Circuit Diagram

Image
Build a Telephone Conversation Recorder Circuit Diagram . This Telephone Conversation Recorder Circuit Diagram enables automatic switching-on of the tape recorder when the handset is lifted. The tape recorder gets switched off when the handset is replaced. The signals are suitably attenuated to a level at which they can be recorded using the ‘MICIN’ socket of the tape recorder. Points X and Y in the circuit are connected to the telephone lines.  Resistors R1 and R2 act as a voltage divider. The voltage appearing across R2 is fed to the ‘MIC-IN’ socket of the tape recorder. The values of R1 and R2 may be changed depending on the input impedance of the tape recorder’s ‘MIC-IN’ terminals. Capacitor C1 is used for blocking the flow of DC. The second part of the circuit controls relay RL1, which is used to switch on/off the tape recorder.   Telephone Conversation Recorder Circuit Diagram A voltage of 48 volts appears across the telephone lines in on-hook condition. This volta...

Build a 1000W AC Motor Speed Controller Circuit Diagram, this is a simple1000W AC Motor Speed Controller Circuit Diagram. This triac based AC motor speed controller circuit is designed for controlling the speed of AC motors like drill machines, fans, vacuums, etc. The speed of the motor can be controlled by changing the setting of P1 potentiometer. The setting of P1 determines the phase of the trigger pulse that fires the triac. The circuit incorporates a self-stabilizing technique that maintains the speed of the motor even when it is loaded.   1000W AC Motor Speed Controller Circuit Diagram

Build a Flashing Light with Twilight Switch Circuit Diagram

Image
Build a Flashing Light with Twilight Switch Circuit Diagram . Flashing light is very useful in order to indicate any obstruction or working in progress. The project automatic flashing light with twilight switch flash light in dark but during day it automatically turns off itself. The circuit diagram of automatic flashing light with twilight switch is shown below where LDR is used as sensor. In the presence of light LDR offer low resistance and in dark it offers high resistance. When there is absence light, LDR offer high resistances which turn off the transistor T1. Due to this darlington pair made from transistor T2 and T3 is turn on which further glow bulb. The feedback from its output is given to the junction of resistor R2 and LDR as shown in circuit diagram. Due to feedback this circuit works as oscillator which work as flasher. Variable resistor VR1 is used to adjust the sensitivity of LDR. Flashing Light with Twilight Switch Circuit Diagram PARTS LIST Resistors (all ¼-watt, ± 5%...

2012 iPhone new version at least a 4 inch display

Image
When the new generation iPhone launches . some time this year there is a lovely chance that it will have a bigger display. The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple has began to order parts for the tool, including a display that is larger then the 3.5-inch that the iPhone has used since it was released. The screen on the 2012 iPhone will be at least four inches, according to the document. About a bigger iPhone screen have been around  as long as the iPhone itself, which mounted to an amazing amount of noise before the announcement of the iPhone 4S last year. The iPhone five, as it was known at the time, had a lot of rumors about it that did not pan out, of the most prominent being the move to a bigger display. Rumors had it that the size of the next-gen Retina display could be three.7-, 4-, or 4.2 inches, though the latter was quickly dispelled. Apple had no comment on the matter, but the article noted that Apple could be making the move in order to compete with rivals, like Samsun...
