Simple IC LM35 Temperature Sensor Characteristics

Image
LM 35 temperature sensor IC is a IC chip production Natioanal Semiconductor which serves to determine the temperature of an object or space in the form of electric scale, or can also be defined as an electronic component that is used to change the temperature changes are accepted in the electrical wholesale changes. LM35 temperature sensor IC temperature change can change a change in voltage at the output. LM35 temperature sensor IC requires +5 volts DC source voltage and DC current consumption of 60 mA in operation. Physical form LM 35 temperature sensor is an IC chip with packaging that varies, in general packaging LM35 temperature sensor is packaged TO-92 as shown in the figure below. From the picture above it can be seen that the temperature sensor IC LM35 basically have 3 pin that serves as a source of supply voltage of +5 volts DC, as a result of sensing the output pin in the form of a change in the DC voltage and Vout pin to Ground. IC LM35 temperature sensor characteristics are...

Fan Speed Control for Temperature Circuit Diagram

Image
This is the simple Fan Speed Control for Temperature Circuit Diagram. With this simple circuit that you will be able to control the speed of a DC fan according to the temperature measured by a temperature sensor. It is an ideal accessory for your projects that require cooling that are not constant.  This simple design allows precise speed control of motors, fans, and blowers, proportional to the temperature. An NTC thermistor (R1) is used as temperature sensor. A circuit optional was added to remotely monitor the operation of the fan and to allow some kind of indication of the approximate speed by increasing the brightness of an LED.  Fan Speed Control for Temperature Circuit Diagram The R5 must be configured to allow the engine just starting to run at the desired temperature. Any 6K8 between the NTC thermistor 22K can operate provided that the R2 value is one tenth of the thermistor. R6, R7 and D1 are optional: R7 obligation is adjusted until the LED glow dimly when the e...

Temperature Sensor Circuit Diagram

Simple Temperature Sensor Circuit Diagram. The LM35 temperature sensor provides an output of 10 mV/C for every degree Celsius over 0C. At 20C the output voltage is 20 10 = 200 mV. The circuit consumes 00. The load resistance should not be less than 5 kQ. A 4- to 20-V supply can be used. Simple Temperature Sensor Circuit Diagram

Temperature Controlled Relay Circuit Diagram

Image
Description This temperature controlled relay circuit is a simple yet highly accurate thermal control circuit which can be used in applications where automatic temperature control is needed. The circuit switches a miniature relay ON or OFF according to the temperature detected by the single chip temperature sensor LM35DZ.  When the LM35DZ detects a temperature higher than the preset level (set by VR1), the relay is actuated. When the temperature falls below the preset temperature, relay is de-energized. The circuit can be powered by any DC 12V supply or battery (100mA min.)   Circuit Diagram How it works? The heart of the circuit is the LM35DZ temperature sensor which is factory-calibrated in the Celsius (or Centigrade) scale with a linear Degree->Volt conversion function. The output voltage (at pin 2) changes linearly with temperature from 0V (0 o C) to 1000mV (100 o C). The preset (VR1) & resistor (R3) from a variable voltage divider which sets a reference voltag...

Basic LM35 temperature sensor circuit
