Simple 12V To 24V DC DC Converter Circuit Diagram

Image
his is the Simple 12V To 24V DC-DC Converter Circuit Diagram. This simple DC-DC converter can provide up to 24V from a 12V source. It can be used to run radios, small lights, relays, horns and other 24V accessories from a 12V vehicle with a maximum draw of about 800mA.   Simple 12V To 24V DC-DC Converter Circuit Diagram It can be used to charge one 12V battery from another, or step up the voltage just enough to provide necessary overhead for a 12V linear regulator. Using one op-amp as a squarewave oscillator to ring an inductor and another op-amp in a feedback loop, it won't drift around under varying loads, providing a stable 24V source for many applications. With a wide adjustment in output this circuit has many uses.

Elco tester circuit

Image
Elco testing small to use AVO meters. But to distinguish between the elco elco 20.000uF/50V 2200uF/50V size would be very difficult, perhaps this phenomenon that makes creative hands itch to make elco with two label values. Scheme tool as follows, do not smile once, indeed simple. The cost to make it too cheap, not up to $ 1. Elco tester circuit The workings of this tool based on the nature of the condenser, the condenser ability to store electrons / voltage. Since each condenser has the characteristic charging time and discharging time is different for each size and type dielektrika. Ideally, the larger size, the greater the time required for charging and discharging (charging and disposal charges). How to use : Make sure the position of the switch (SW1) on the discharging position (position A). Connect / elco pairs that will be tested, then empty the contents briefly elco by pressing SW2 (approximately 1 to 3 seconds). Position the switch in the charging position (position B), the LE...

Reliable Car Battery Tester Circuit Diagram

Image
This circuit uses the popular and easy to find LM3914 IC. This IC is very simple to drive, needs no voltage regulators (it has a built in voltage regulator) and can be powered from almost every source. This circuit is very easy to explain: When the test button is pressed, the Car battery voltage is feed into a high impedance voltage divider. His purpose is to divide 12V to 1,25V (or lower values to lower values). This solution is better than letting the internal voltage regulator set the 12V sample voltage to be feed into the internal voltage divider simply because it cannot regulate 12V when the voltage drops lower (linear regulators only step down). Simply wiring with no adjust, the regulator provides stable 1,25V which is fed into the precision internal resistor cascade to generate sample voltages for the internal comparators. Anyway the default setting let you to measure voltages between 8 and 12V but you can measure even from 0V to 12V setting the offset trimmer to 0 (but i think ...

Portable Solar Lantern Circuit Diagram

Image
This portable solar lantern circuit uses 6 volt/5 watt solar panels are now widely available. With the help of such a photo-voltaic panel we can construct an economical, simple but efficient and truly portable solar lantern unit. Next important component required is a high power (1watt) white LED module. When solar panel is well exposed to sunlight, about 9 volt dc available from the panel can be used to recharge a 4.8 volt /600 mAh rated Ni-Cd batterypack. Here red LED (D2) functions as a charging process indicator with the help of resistor R1. Resistor R2 regulates the charging current flow to near 150mA. Solar Lantern Circuit Schematic Assuming a 4-5 hour sunlit day, the solar panel (150mA current set by the charge controller resistor R2) will pump about 600 – 750 mAh into the battery pack. When power switch S1 is turned on, dc supply from the Ni-Cd battery pack is extended to the white LED (D3). Resistor R3 determines the LED current. Capacitor C1 works as a buffer. Note: After con...

PIC Security System Dials Your Cell Phone Circuit Diagram

Image
This is a simple PIC Security System Dials Your Cell Phone Circuit Diagram . Do-it-yourself phone dialer security system calls your cell phone, office etc. whenever a door or window is opened, or panic button is pressed. Great Home Alarm. PIC Security System Dials Your Cell Phone Circuit Diagram The circuit consists of a small PIC microcontroller, assembly program, and a few other parts to detect a switch closure from an open door, window, or manual push button and then dial the cell phone number, and transmit a steady tone to indicate the source of the call. The circuit uses the pulse dialing system to interrupt the line connection a number of times to indicate each digit. Pulse dialing (the oldest form of dialing) works by actually disconnecting or "hanging up" the phone line a number of times to indicate each digit. For example, the digit "5" would be dialed by disconnecting and reconnecting the line 5 times in short intervals of about 100mS. There is about a 1 s...

Description This circuit is self explanatory and it is fairly simple, the temperature sensor used in this circuits are not thermistors but they are nothing but the signal diodes, the variation of the resistance according to increase or decrease in temperature sets the operational amplifier which drives the transistor Q1 which inturn gives the base voltage to transistor Q2 and their by the fan is switched on and off.  Circuit Diagram Source -http://www.electronguide.com/circuits_pages/TEMPRATURECONTROLLEDFAN.html

LA3600 5 Band Equalizer Circuit

Image
One type of regulator of tone / tone controls are the Audio Graphic Equalizer. Audio Graphic Equalizer have 2 kinds in my opinion. Namely Audio Graphic Equalizer Bar and the type of parametric type is often called parametric equalizer. Audio Graphic Equalizer In the article this is the type of bar with 5 channels using IC LA3600. IC LA3600 is a single chip "Audio Graphic Equalizer 5 channel" that is designed specifically for the equalizer five channels. Because IC LA3600 is a special design of the equalizer circuit to make this a simple equalizer. Figure series of Audio Graphic Equalizer 5 channels with IC LA3600 as follows. Equalizer Schematic Audio Graphic Equalizer circuit with IC LA3600 above can control the audio frequencies from 108 Hz to 10.8 KHz. Audio frequency which is controlled by this equalizer was 108 HZ, 343 Hz, 1.08 KHz, 3.43 KHz and 10.8 KHz. The frequency of that frequency is set based on the value of 2 pieces of capacitors in each chanelnya. So for instance...

DCF77 Preamplifier Circuit

Image
DCF77 Preamplifier Circuit Diagram. A popular project among microcontroller aficionados is to build a radio-controlled clock. Tiny receiver boards are available, with a pre-adjusted ferrite antenna, that receive and demodulate the DCF77 time signal broadcast from Mainf lingen in Germany. DCF77 has a range of about 1,000 miles. All the microcontroller need do is decode the signal and output the results on a display. The reception quality achieved by these ready-made boards tends to be proportional to their price. In areas of marginal reception a higher quality receiver is needed, and a small selective preamplifier stage will usually improve the situation further. The original ferrite antenna is desoldered from the receiver module and connected to the input of the preamplifier. This input consists of a source follower (T1) which has very little damping effect on the resonant circuit. A bipolar transistor (T2) provides a gain of around 5 dB. The output signal is coupled to the antenna inp...

Simple LED Based Reading Lamp Circuit Diagram

Image
This lamp circuit using ultra-bright white LEDs provides sufficient light for reading purposes while consuming approximately 3 watts of power. In the case of AC mains failure, the battery backup circuit instantly lights up the LEDs. When the power resumes, the battery supply is automatically disconnected and the lamp circuit again works off AC mains. The power supply circuit consists of 0-7.5V, 500mA step-down transformer X1, rectifier diodes D1 through D4 and filter capacitor C1. Regulator IC 7805 (IC1) provides regulated 5V to LEDs, so there is no variation in the intensity of the lamp light even if the mains power supply fluctuates. A total of ten white LEDs (LED1 through LED10) are connected in parrallel across the 5V power supply. Resistors R1 through R10 (each 56 ohms) are connected in series with the white LEDs to limit the current. To increase the intensity of the lamp light, you can add more LEDs in the same manner; a maximum of 15 LEDs can be used for the lamp. LED-Based Read...

9V Automatic Battery NiCd Charger Circuit Diagram

Image
The only thing to do is connect the battery and press the 'Start' button. When the discharge cycle is finished the circuit switches over to charge for 15 hours. After the 15 hours the circuits maintains a trickle charge to keep the battery 'topped-up'.  9V Automatic Battery NiCd Charger Circuit Diagram Before I go into the schematic details I like to explain some of the component descriptions in the schematic. Jan Hamer lives in the Netherlands and so the circuit details are based on european standards. 120E, 150E, etc. The 'E' just stands for Ohms so 120 ohm, 150 ohm. The original circuit specified the HEF type of cmos IC's which are not readily available in most of Canada. So just get any other type of CMOS chip like the MC4011, MC4020, MC4047 from Motorola. Any other type will do fine too. The BC548B is replaceble by a NTE123AP (NOTE: make sure it is the 'AP' type, the regular NTE123A is a total different transistor), ECG123AP, and the 2N3904 will...

Fire Alarm Circuit Diagram

Image
Circuit Diagram Description An reverse biased germanium diode is used here as a heat sensor at normal room temperature the reverse resistance of the diode is very high in the order of over 10 kilo ohms so it produce no effects on the transistor Q1 which conducts and keeps the reset pin 4 of ic 555 at its ground level, and so the alarm doesn’t get activated. When the temperature in the vicinity of the diode (the sensor) increases in case of fire, the reverse resistance of the germanium diode drops at about 70 degree its resistance drops to a value below 1 kilo ohms this stops Q1 conduction and the 555 ic pin 4 becomes positive through the resistor R1 which activates the alarm. Note: For installation of the alarm two or three reverse biased germanium diode can be connected in parallel at different locations in case of fire any of the diode can sense the heat and can activate the alarm. DR25 Germanium diode is recommended for use but still it can be replaced with base emitter junctions o...
