Simpled Solar Powered Lithium Ion Battery Charger Circuit

Image
The circuit below feeds a controlled current and voltage to a 3.6v lithium ion battery. The current is limited to 300ma and the voltage is limited to 4.2 volts. The circuit uses a LTC1734 IC from Linear Technology. No diode is needed between the circuit and a 6 volt solar panel. Some very nice 6 volt solar panels are available from www.plastecs.comTheir SP6-200-12 cranks out about 1 watt while the SP6-300-12 can produce about 2 watts. Assuming a 6 hour sunlit day, the 2 watt panel will pump about 1.8 amp-hours into a battery.

12V Powered 12V Lead Acid Battery Charger with Indicator

Some of you might wonder why a charger is needed at all, to charge a 12 Volt battery from a 12 Volt source! Well, firstly the “12 Volt” source will typically vary anywhere from 11 Volt to 15 Volt, and then a battery needs a controlled charge current and voltage, which cannot result from connecting it directly to a voltage source. The charger described here is intended for charging small 12 Volt lead acid batteries, such as the gelled or AGM batteries of capacities between about 2 and 10 Ah, using a car’s electrical system as power source, regardless of whether the car engine is running or not. I built this charger many years ago, I think I was still in school back then. On request of a reader of my web site, I’m publishing it now, despite being a rather crude circuit. 12V Powered 12V Lead Acid Battery Charger with Indicator It works, it is uncritical to build, and uses only easy-to-find parts, so it has something in its favor. The downside is mainly the low efficiency: This charger was...

1 5V POWERED LED FLASHER ELECTRONIC DIAGRAM

Image
1.5V POWERED LED FLASHER ELECTRONIC DIAGRAM It is a charge pump design. This is where a capacitor (electrolytic) is allowed to charge and is then raised higher and allowed to discharge into a load. The load sees a voltage that can be higher than the supply.

USB Powered Audio Power Amplifier Circuit Diagram

Image
This is a simple project of USB Powered Audio Power Amplifier Circuit Diagram. This USB Powered Audio Power Amplifier Circuit Diagram of multimedia speakers for PCs has single-chip-based design, low-voltage power supply, compatibility with USB power, easy heat-sinking, low cost, high flexibility and wide temperature tolerance. At the heart of the circuit is IC TDA2822M. This IC is, in fact, mono-lithic type in 8-lead mini DIP package. It is intended for use as a dual audio power amplifier in battery-powered sound players. Specifications of TDA2822M are low quiescent current, low crossover distortion, supply voltage down to 1.8 volts and minimum output power of around 450 mW/channel with 4-ohm loudspeaker at 5V DC supply input.  An ideal power amplifier can be simply defined as a circuit that can deliver audio power into external loads without generating significant signal distortion and without consuming excessive quiescent current. This circuit is powered by 5V DC supply available...

220V AC Powered White Led Lamp

Image
This is the simple version of a white LED lamp that can be directly powered from mains. It can give ample light even for reading purpose. Capacitor CX along with diodes D1 through D4 forms the AC step down circuit. CX reduces high voltage AC from mains to a low voltage AC which is rectified by the diodes D1-D4. 220V AC Powered White Led Lamp Circuit Diagram Capacitor C1 removes ripples from AC so that low voltage DC is available to power the LEDs.CX is the X rated AC capacitor that reduces AC voltage through capacitive rectance property. Resistor R1 is very important to remove the stored voltage from CX when power is switched off. This prevents lethal shock. Resistor R2 limits the inrush current. More LEDs can be added by reducing the value of R2.Since the circuit is directly connected to mains, take utmost care to avoid shock. No components should be touched when it is connected to mains.
